School Council

Our School Council plays an important role in representing the voice of our pupils' opinions, ideas and issues to senior leaders.

The School Council has organised several initiatives to promote diversity, charitable giving, and literacy within the school, such as our Cultural Day, where all our pupils enjoyed celebrating the rich tapestry of cultural traditions within our school community.  They did this through class and group activities, stories, clothing and culinary delights. This truly helped to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for one another's backgrounds.

Last year, the council organised a "Pyjama Day" fundraiser; pupils donated funds to support a local refugee charity. This effort not only raised essential funds but also raised awareness about the challenges faced by displaced individuals seeking refuge.

Combining the importance of literacy and community support, our School Council have also hosted an extremely successful Book Fair, with proceeds benefiting a local food pantry. This initiative not only encouraged a love of reading amongst pupils but also demonstrated the School Council's commitment to addressing food insecurity within the community.
